S.C. Fornetti Romania SRL, with head office in the locality of Hodoni, Satchinez commune, Timiş County, is a fully privately owned trade company incorporated in 2001 as a master-franchise of Fornetti Kft. Hungary. The great successes recorded in Fornetti products distribution in Romania required the opening of a new production capacity. On April 19, 2002 there has been inaugurated the production at the working point located in the locality of Hodoni, Timiş County, and a new phase related to the development of Fornetti franchise in Romania began. The production personnel was exclusively recruited and selected from the rural area, in close proximity to the factory.
In nine years of activity, Fornetti Romania successively climbed performance steps by increasing the production capacity while diversifying its product range, widening the area of distribution, improving transport logistics, so Fornetti Romania is currently occupying the first place in the top franchises in Romania. Presently, the number of system stores is over 800 and the number of ovens in which our products are processed exceeds 2000 units.
Even in the conditions of an economic and financial crisis, imposed on many sectors, the development objectives of Fornetti Romania remain intact. Following the introduction of fully automated production lines, we rely on a constantly high quality of our products. Our specialists are able to introduce new products in the assortment range, new tastes according to market requirements. The effort direction of the current period is to strengthen market position, promote a new, modern image of the stores in the system.
Factory Presentation
Conceived as a multifunctional complex, the SC Fornetti Romania SRL production unit includes storage houses for raw materials, production spaces, technical spaces and places for storing frozen merchandise, all compliant with the conditions imposed by an optimal traceability.
The production lines are completely automatic and the storage houses are permanently monitored in terms of the storing temperature.
The handling in the storage houses is carried out in compliance with the FIFO principle.
Highly trained personnel ensure the functionality of this evidently technical complex.
ISO, IFS and HACCP Certificates
Romania’s accession to the European community imposed the alignment to the highest standards of quality and food safety. Fornetti Romania implemented in the production process the ISO 9001/2008, HACCP and IFS (International Food Standard) vers.5 standards.
Company is audited annually by the certification body to assess performance in meeting the requirements of these standards.

Fornetti Fleet
Fornetti Romania’s fleet structure has the center of gravity on the transport capacity of frozen products. Thus, we have tractors and refrigerated semi-trailers for long distances transport to regional warehouses, trucks and medium and small capacity special vehicles for the distribution to the partner franchise stores. The frozen products are transported at temperatures of -18ºC (+/- 3ºC) so that the cold chain that is completed in the partner’s freezer is not affected or interrupted.
The fleet is completed by intervention and service vehicles of areal technical-trading representatives, by minibuses to transport people and by cars for administrative staff.
Maintenance and current repair works are carried out at the company’s auto shop.
